THE DURANGUESADO
From Bilbao, we will take the national road N-634 toward Donostia - San Sebastián direction for arriving to Galdakao. We can see the Andra Maria Church which is a gothical national monument.
Continue to Amorebieta until arriving to Durango, we can see the City Hall, the Santa María Gate and the Ezkurdi Square.
We will continue our journey to Elorrio and pass through Abadiño to see the Muntsaratz Tower. After that, we will arrive to Axpe and Arrezola, the two typical vasque villages, in the Atxondo Valley.
Now we will back to Apatamonasterio by following the Elorrio direction, it is the most monumental village in Bizkaia with Concepción Church, City Hall and numbers of Noble House and Palaces.
From Elorrio we continue the route to Berriz that is in the down part of Oiz Mountain toward Garay for arriving to Goiuria. There are famous restaurants in Goiuria. Continuesly, we will arrive to Iurreta where you can see San Miguel Church.
From here, we can go to Urkiola to see the nice view of Duranguesado Rocky Mountains.
Finally, we return to Bilbao by taking the A-8 highway.
